I Can’t Be On Every Social Media Network!!!
Relax-you don’t have to be on every social platform!
I find so many people are confused or intimidated by social media. They feel they need to market their business everywhere and that thinking just leads to feeling of overwhelm and doubt.
Social media doesn’t have to be overwhelming, but the first step to having social media marketing success is probably the most obvious, but is also the hardest to master: Know Your Audience! Once you know your audience, it is easy to find where your audience “socializes” and then you can determine where to spend your social media marketing efforts. Only when you can define the WHO, can you answer the WHERE. There so many different social network out there. Some have been around for a while, others are new and tomorrow something brand-new will probably enter the seen.
Before you spend any time, money or frustration trying to figure out how to promote your business through social media, it is important to spend the time to defining your audience. if you don't know who your potential customers are, how can you ever figure out where and how to reach them?
Each social network has a specific audience and a demographic of its core users. Knowing who uses the platform makes it easier for businesses to align their marketing with the platform based on the audiences. Your business does not need to be on every social media platform. You only need to concentrate on the platforms where your ideal and potential customers hang out.
For instance, If you are targeting the 45 year old + crowd, you most likely do not have to learn what that Snapchat thing is all about! If your business is mainly B2B, you should be putting significant time and effort into marketing on LinkedIn. Take the time to make a profile of your perfect customer want to know what a person we can figure out where that person socializes on one and only then can you make a plan to become a Rockstar on the platform where all the potential customers live!
Easy Steps to Social Media Marketing:

Remember, your message, your money, your creative, and your time is all wasted if you're not reaching the right people.
